Solutions that go beyond traditional building automation functions

Kalaam Telecom, a leading technology solutions provider in Bahrain, has announced the availability of comprehensive and integrated smart building automation solutions. These solutions are designed to be energy-saving and cost-effective, employing cutting-edge digital strategies and next-generation IT solutions such as Internet of Things (IoT).

Kalaam smart building automation solutions are fully customizable and tailored to meet the specific needs of each building. Kalaam team of experts examines the building’s specifications and assesses the range of services and smart solutions that can be implemented, offering flexible payment options.

In light of the global digital transformation, the digital infrastructure of a property has become crucial for modern tenants who seek responsive digital solutions to enhance their comfort and modern lifestyle. With the growing emphasis on sustainability and the global push towards sustainable cities, smart buildings provide attractive options for environmentally conscious individuals and those prioritizing sustainability due to their energy-saving benefits.

Ali Baksh, Head of Real Estate Sales at Kalaam Telecom stated: “To address these evolving needs, our digital solutions for smart building automation extend beyond conventional functions like air conditioning and lighting control. We provide our customers with advanced technology that enables them to effectively manage their properties, thus maintaining their high value and making them appealing options in the market. Our smart building automation solutions offer various benefits to enhance the tenant experience, including top-notch privacy and security, tailored internet packages, seamless WiFi coverage with customizable network systems compatible with 5G, efficient bandwidth management, as well as audio services, elevator access control, and security surveillance camera systems.”

Considering Bahrain’s recent commitment to achieving net zero emissions of greenhouse gases by 2060, along with interim objectives such as a 30% reduction in carbon emissions by 2035, smart buildings play a significant role in reducing the carbon footprint. By utilizing real-time occupancy data, smart buildings optimize resource usage efficiently and economically while providing a safe and comfortable environement roe occupants.

Smart buildings use data from sensors to automatically control various systems, including building access, temperature, lighting, and ventilation. They continuously adjust their settings to create the ideal ambiance for tenants, automatically turning systems on or off as needed. This results in substantial reductions in operating costs and environmental impact.

Furthermore, Kalaam Telecom’s smart building automation solutions incorporate an access control system that utilizes hand or face scanning for tenant authentication, ensuring complete protection and security within the building. The elevator control system complements this by employing automatic card readers or biometric finger scanning to monitor elevator entries, including car park elevators and floor visits. Customer services provided by Kalaam Telecom include a 24/7 call center, toll-free number, and VoIP services.

Additionally, Kalaam Telecom offers fiber infrastructure within buildings to provide tenants with the best internet experience. Bandwidth management solutions are implemented to ensure equitable access to internet traffic and data for all tenants along with hardware routing and switching solutions, enabling the transmission of bandwidth-intensive data, voice, video, and wireless applications. Industry-standard racks of various sizes are available to accommodate building servers, hard drives, switches and other computing equipment.
